Mentoring and collaboration

I have contributed to the development and mentorship of collaborative computational projects, including work with Hyunbeen "Jason" Lee on Alu-mediated RNA duplexes and exon skipping in primate transcriptomes (Genome Biology, 2026, co-first and co-corresponding author). Earlier mentorship includes work with Yuyao Song on alternative splicing in single-cell RNA-seq, culminating in a Genome Biology publication (scASfind, 2024).

Teaching and training

I have taught on the Wellcome Genome Campus Advanced Course on Next Generation Sequencing Bioinformatics in Chile (2019, 2021) and on University of Cambridge courses in RNA-seq analysis, Python programming, data science in Python, and computational methods for biological data analysis (2017–2019).
